CALTRAN provides direct support and is involved in managing multiple traffic projects for the Florida Department of Transportation. CALTRAN has completed preliminary engineering and design tasks, including reports, planning development of alternatives, conceptual design, corridor studies, simulations, and GIS data.
Concurrent with traffic and planning, CALTRAN manages projects that involve traffic impact studies, traffic circulation, PD&E, modeling, traffic forecasting, signalization, scoping reports, and safety countermeasures.
